| I got a 72 super beetle and when ever it gets warm and i turn it off and then turn it back on i have to put the gas pedal to the floor and i smell gas. so I figure it floods. I tryed adjusting the fuel mixture but nothing, still floods. ???? |

| Check your carb. It may be leaking. May need a rebuild in the carb. |

Is your gas tank vented properly?
If your evap. sys. is missing or bypassed it can pressurize the tank sometimes if done wrong.
