| Hey guys and gals i have a dilemma i have a 64 type 1 with a link pin beam and i want a 66 type 1 framehead due to the ball joint beam that way i can narrow the beam up to 4 inches and possibly more and still run shocks for a smoother ride and this guy where i work says he can put new pans weld new floors seal them and sound proof the entire roller with the beam on it already for $600 plus my pan (1964). what do you guys think is that a good price or should i continue searching. |

| 4" w/ stock shock towers is a lot to ask for without cutting the body i would ask around here a little mor before you are deadset on that idea |

| If you could get by with a 2"narrowed beam there are plenty of places to get it from and it is a reversible modification. Good luck. |
