| how does one measure gas cap diameter.? :oops: is it the extreme outer diameter? or is it measured across the inner raised part? |

Hi Dansvans,
Depends on what you are measuring it for!! Kind of like fastener shops, some measure U-bolts by center to center and others the space between the U-bolt legs.
