what are they from? I am talkin about the 56-63 style with rounded ends..
but these are one piece, so there is no "short" end they have rounded cornes front and back?? I have seen a few others in the past but never knew what they came from..maybe option 64-67 ragtop? the mechanism they came with does have the late style folding handle.

Mine are also one piece! I have seen a few of them but have no idea what they are from...I do know that they came from VW as one piece they weren't cut from a bus rail.

| well, they are for sure not homemade or cut down from bus rails, the holes match up to a standard ragtop roof they just skip the 2nd and 3rd to the last hole! I have seen another pair of these in a '63 euro beetle. |

ok...but this still does not eliminate the posibility that they could be from a rare 64-67 factory ragtop. if that isthe case then maybe this style was avail. as replacement parts in later years? |

| the 72 book goes back thru ovals and has early 73 - that is what makes them not used thru 67 (64-67 available in standard as ragtop option.) maybe replacement parts?? i dont know. |

| So, without the rear corners being a removeable piece, doesn't the 1pc rail make assembly a little more difficult? |
