You mean your new daily driver for the winter? Or is it going to be a project during the winter months?

Teeroy Fri Nov 26, 2004 6:07 pm

Yeah the salt discs are kinda cool . This will be my daily driver from know on , just have to bleed the brakes and install the seat belts , and its ready to roll . TROY

Winter has found the new winter car ! Still need to bleed the brakes though .

hmmm... that is a good idea for a winter driver. i never thought of that before. i suppose it wouldn't matter of all the salt and moisture found it because its already cut up?

The car has been a baja since the late 60's , the freind I bought it from had owned it since 1970 or 71 , and it allready had been baja'd . The car has very little rust , the pans are getting a bit thin , and one of the running board mounts has a small spot in the back and thats it . We don't salt here , but they have started using deicer the last year or two . TROY

I can send you my wool blanket that I used to use in my bus in the winter when I lived in Spokane, Troy! Hope the heat works as well in your bug as mine does, you need it more than I.

Thats, cool

Put some paddles on it this summer and come play!!

First week of everday use , so far so good (minor front brake dragging issue) , used it instead of truck to get our Christmas tree today , got some strange looks ! TROY

My everyday driver / winter car got a transplant today . Pulled out my dual Weber auto cross car engine and put in a single port 1600 . Was supposed to do it months ago , but didn't feel like freezing my ass off .

Sorry man, but those hubcaps are the kind i see often in the gay communities. And overall I'm not impressed with the style. Total lack of badass...

Teeroy Sat Apr 16, 2005 9:53 pm

What can I say , its just a everyday beater car . The salt discs look better than the steel wheels under them , they were on the car when I bought it . TROY
