Does anyone know what the weight of a VW bug body is, to include the doors, hood, trunk lid minus the windows?
I plan to take the body off Roddis and give him an acid dip before painting and since this place charges by the pound I want to get a guess of the cost.

| its not too bad, my buddy and I can move my SB body around (with doors, no hood) with one of us on each end. Its awkward more than but not too heavy. i would guess 500 lbs. any other guesses? |
