| i know there is a difference between 53 and late 55 doors,but i was wondering if the later doors will go on the 53. would appreciate any advice |

| from the outside or inside(once the door card is in)is there any visible difference.i`ve got a mint pair of later doors,and parts are impossible to find and real expensive to ship in ireland |

| the door latch mechanism is differant. size is same-they bolt on.. the latch was changed but maybe the opening on door edge could be opened and screw locations redrilled.. wont have bib around door panel area. |

So are you asking about non ribbed doors going on your 53? If so you can use the 56 door strikers and you can only use 3 of the 4 screw hole but it will work. |
