front aprons on a 55 and earlier only have two ribs correct? Or am I wrong? I see most people here say they have 4 ribs, but on my 55 it only has 2. Just wondering. Thanks

I have a Feb 2 55 Beetle with 2 "fingers" is this wrong? or did the 4 "finger" start in Aug 55? thanks

| You car should have 4 fingers. My split has 4 and my April 55 vert does. Both are original. You have the wrong apron. |

| it seems to me to be original and rusty....unless it was hit way long time ago and repaired. But its the same color as the body and very very rusty and crusty. Now I'm wondering what years had the 2 fingers on them? |
