| If it has a curved windshield then it's a Super. A flat windshield makes it a Standard. |

| You can also tell by looking at the VIN, although it's easier to just look at the windshield... |

thanx guys.........was also told that the flat dash would make it a standard........right?

| Not really, 71 and 72 super Beetles have flat dash and a flat windshield, the quickest way to tell is if the spare lays down flat its a super if it sits upright its a standard |

We're talking about a 76, so if it's a flat windshield... it's a standard. |
