| not sure why your posting but if the complaint is the price consider tyhat the seller is in the U.K. and it is likely very rare there. As far as rare here, not really but then I live 30 miles from where the dealership was located. |

so this one has no "ears", only 2 mounting holes at the top, and it says "auto center" on it.
super rare og unit? or what?

These econo plate frames that say auto center riverside were put on 68 and later vw's that were sold. All the one's prior to that just say ECONO Riverside. These are pretty hard to get I have a few and I just sold my broken one here on the samba a month ago. |

True dat, any 51-55 CA VW plate frames are unbeatable. I need some 51-55 Hollywood Motors plate frames, I would pay the big dollars for those puppies if they exist. |

Yeah that's what I meant, Competition Motors in Hollywood, my March 55 bus was on the lot at that dealership while James Dean was working on his Porsche at the Dealer. I guess they let him work on it there. He first bought a 356 convertible in March before he bought the 550 spyder that he died in. |
