Does anyone know how to gently remove with out distroying the little circle defrost vents on the end of the dash board that face the passengers?

they're held in by tabs on the back side of the vent. The tabs can be pressed in while the vent slides out...Trouble is, it's a tight squeeze in there and I think the dash has to come off (or at least moved back a little) to do it.

Sounds like fun. Thanks.

Previous person was correct there are tabs that hold them in. I used a long screw driver to find the tabsl and push them in. This left dents in the dash though..... I didn't care though I was putting a cap on and wanted the vents on the outside of the cap.

Got mine with the new cover, but the vents were not back in place. The holes are too small. Do I get out my Drumel and make the holes larger or do I get out a blow drier and soften it up? Also, one of my vents is a little chipped at the edges. Anyone found a supplier of new ones? I've poured through the catalogs and no luck.

Thanks!
