If the pan nunber is 13401** made in Aug of 56, And the body is 2779** made in May 1957. Is the manufacturing date to far appart for them to be numbers matching correct?

| pan 13401** built in november 1956 and 2779** body built in june 1956 i think your b0ody is on wrong pan.. this info from progressive refinements #1 where did you get august 56 frame and june57 body??? |

| check your body tag. I have a Feb '55 beetle my body tag doesn't have the chassis number stamped into it, but the body tag should have the number right in there, if they don't match its on the wrong pan. |
