Hi there, wondered if anyone can help - I have a 57 oval with the standard twin tail pipe exhaust. I was wondering if u can fit later 1200 exhausts with some simple modifications? I know you wont need the heater ducting parts but would it physically fit and what about the j tubes coming from the heater boxes are these different to later cars? Bare in mind my j tubes are rusty where they meet the silencer so i'll have to do something there anyhow, are replacement j tubes same diameter/fit? By the way this is a daily driver and originality is not essencial in a relatively hidden area of the car.
thx for any views you have
