| i was wondering if 55 and earlier ovals had different front fenders than 55 and later, or 5?-and later? Also how can you tell? I have 55 and it seems that one headlight is slightly up, and is rounder than the other one. Maybe its me, or maybe i need air in the tires but it just looks a little funny. |

| The stampings are much crisper. You can see the lines much clearer. The groves are deeper. Later fenders have a "softer" look. It is easy to see if you have an early fender and a later fender right next to each other. |
