| Would I have to switch my swing axle for an IRS? I heard if you bag a swing axle it would butterfly crazy like when you raise it. |

when it was lowered or when it was raised? of course i know it'll butterfly when it's lowered, but my question is will a swing axle butterfly the opposite direction when it is raised.
a friend of a friend is going to bag my cousins car and he told him to get an irs setup first. just wondering if he's trying to rip him off of more money. |

I depends on the kit, the bag mounts, and the bags themselves.
Swing alxe goes up, they butterfly. Swing axle goes down, they butterfly.
The stance depends on the installation.
If he's concerned with that, mayeb he should use an IRS.
I personally would run the Swing axle. |

IRS does NOT butterfly when lowered. Ok, yes it does..but much less than swing axle cars. IRS have 2 points of axis, while swing axle only has one. This allows the wheels to stay more vertical, instead of coming in at the top, AKA negative camber. |

| i personally like the swing axle set up due to a cleaner look but the irs does have the advantage of keeping the negative camber to a minimum. you could alwyas raise the trans if you wanted it lower with out the camber. |
