These came in my 55, and they are not like any bug seat I've seen...they sit at a way rake...no room for legs in rear, and my legs barely fit under the wheel...plus you have to lean way up to shift...they mount like bug seats...But???

| Is your bug on the correct pan? those are 55 seats or so they look, but remember 55's had flat seat tracks, and 56 and up had a slant seat track thus the reason they are laying backwards...can't really see your seat track in the pic too well. |

Yustrn...Good thinkin...it is on a later pan....and I was thinkin' abiut cuttin' these up so they would work...Now I'm on the hunt for later seats...Or....Could I cut the seat track and lower them to a flat position...then I could use my 55 seats

Man to every pair of those 55 seats, there is probably 200 laters. I wouldnt do it. Then you end up with that adjustment knob on the side. |

DONT CUT THE SEATS! I have been looking for a pair like those. You can install the early rails to make them work but your car looks like a standarrd model which would not have rails at all. The seats are held down by wingnuts like the early van rear/middle seat.
