| Wasn't it Gabriel (not the locksmith) responsible for selling all those cars a few years ago? I think he kept a '55 vert for himself though. |

| You know he had 4 55 verts and 7 splits, 2 being pre early 49. More impressive than the VW collection was what must have been the largest porn collection I've ever seen. Hey baby, look at me, im the sausage man. What is worse than being called the sausage man? being in jail and called the sausage man. |

I've got several hundred pics just never posted them due to the BS issues. I new of some cars in his back yard just not the full extent. I could go on and on for days with stories about this guy and the dealings from selling part/ cars. What do you want to know? |

Gabe, not that fascinated about his porn or sausage (or his pornsausage  ), but hearing VW stories is always cool... any neat stuff you wanted to share would probably get a ton of reads.

'Sausage king' killer dies in prison
By Guy Ashley
CONTRA COSTA TIMES
Convicted murderer Stuart Alexander, the self-proclaimed "Sausage King" who gunned down three meat inspectors at his San Leandro sausage factory in June 2000, died this morning in his cell at San Quentin State Prison.
Alexander was found unconscious in his cell about 4:30 a.m. and .attempts to revive him were unsuccessful, said prison Sgt. Eric Messick. He was pronounced dead at 5:15 a.m.
Messick said there were no overt signs of foul play or suicide. But he said Alexander, 44, had been kept in a special observation unit for the last several days because of "recurring mental health issues." Prison staffers were assigned to check Alexander regularly due to those concerns.
"He was having a difficult time adjusting to incarceration," Messick said. "Some people don't hold up well under incarceration. A lot of people go through that - especially with a death sentence."
Alexander's mother, Shirley Eckhart, said she believes her son was put on new medications once he went to prison, and that he did not respond well.
"They screwed him up on the meds," Eckhart said this morning.
Messick said Alexander suffered from no overt physical health problems in the prison. But Eckhart said she was concerned about her son's health because he had gained nearly 100 pounds since the time of his arrest.
Alexander was convicted at trial in October 2004 of three counts of murder with special circumstances for gunning down the three inspectors at the Santos Linguisa Factory on June 21, 2000.
At the trial, Alexander's attorneys said he believed the inspectors were harrassing him and intended to close down the factory, which Alexander's family had operated for 79 years.
In the months before the shootings, inspectors had cited the factory for several violations, asserting Santos' wood-fired cooking methods were not heating its specialty pork linguisa adequately - raising concerns about harmful bacteria.
Killed were two U.S. Department of Agriculture inspectors, Jean Hillery, 56, of Alameda, and Tom Quadros, 52, of Hayward, and state Department of Agriculture investigator Bill Shaline, 57, of American Canyon. A fourth inspector, Earl Willis, escaped after running from the factory and ducking bullets Alexander fired in his direction in a chase that lasted several blocks.
A surveillance camera inside the factory captured the killings.
The video shows Alexander shooting the three inspectors as they waited for him in the factory's front sales area.
Alexander then disappears for several minutes - presumably to chase after Willis. When he returns, the video shows Alexander calmly walking up to the fallen inspectors and shooting each of them in the head.
Messick said an autopsy will be performed by the Marin County Coroner's Office. |

Vienna sausage has had pretty good QC over the years. I'm sure your "roommate" will agree that you're ok. |
