I've had these for awhile, but not exactly sure what years they are correct for. They are OE, but not VW. They have a SWF logo on the lens and a VW part number on the lens, but no VW part number on the steel body.
I've been told they are correct for mid to late 50's cabrios and not correct for sedans.
Any info would be helpful.

These are my NOS convertible semaphores. They are longer than the regular ones so they you can see them over the rear fenders

I originally got them as a spare set for my euro 57 Beetle. Since this confirms they're for a 'vert I might part with them when I need something bad enough.
Trading parts for other parts is better than for cash.
Thanks guys. |

Glenn, yours are for sedan. If you look at Kevins pic, the backs are more flat due to the quarter glass in convertibles rolling up and down to clear. |

Now I see that.
That's why I came here... to get the real poop. |

The exterior arms are very slightly longer on the convertible models compared to the sedan models as shown in the pic below. They are the same thickness, just have different mounting tabs. The first 3 are vert models, the last one on the end is 1950-53 sedan.
