| I know everybody that modifies their oval switches to a later swing axel trans.But I was wondering If I can run my stock 57 tranny with a 1641 motor without having any problems.I'm not sure if it's non sync but besides coming to a complete stop to get into 1st what other issues am I in for? Thanks |

| i used them.. short shift into second as 1st is weak..shorter gear than 4.37-1 so they pull hard. |

| nope just shift as soon as your lauch is done-dont wind over 5500.. get into 2nd. 1st is non-syncro since syncro 2,3,and 4 introduced in oct 52.. and usually cheap since people dont trust them.. Allen throws then into dumpster behind his condo.. free! |
