I did a post a couple weeks ago about oil in crankcase. I found the problem to be fuel is dripping in carb after I shut off engine. Rebuilt the carb today but the result is the same. Carb is not original it is Brosal 30/31 pict. Not sure what my next move should be. Will I be able to save this carb or is a new one in order. If so what kind? Thanks for any help.

If the carb is the problem I would really try to find a used Solex and rebuild it myself.
Maybe it could be a fuel pump problem stroking too long (not shimmed right) and causing leak by the float valve and overflowing...or so I've heard of this. But I'm not sure what you would do to check or fix that.

sounds like a float level setting problem. the float could be set too high causing excess fuel to get out of the carb thru the vent tube.

if you used NEW gasket for the needle seat assy. this is what happens. reuse old gasket under neele and seat assy.
