| first of all no digital camera, the old lady lost it... :twisted: i found a copy of 1959 febuary popular mechanics with a cover illustration of an oval beetle with a ski lift attachment!! dude from austria made a wheel adapter gizmo that runs a small cable ski lift. the pulley runs on the side of the rear tire and runs up the hill where the cable is attached to a stake or a tree. six photos are included, one shows the beetle with dual ski racks on the engine decklid. very cool article....... |
