I picked up a few parts from an old man by my house and there was what appears to be a glass clear bullet signal. The rest of the parts were for a late oval, so I am assuming that this lens is as well... I was always under the assumption that bullet lens's were plastic. Any confirmations? On the lens, it is
"VW HELLA
BL-Po 330"
IT IS DEFINATELY GLASS by the way.
Here is hopefully a picture

| All the bullet lenses I've seen have the cresent shaped cutouts @ the base for the screws that hold the housing together. |

Agreed. I thought all oval era bullets were plastic as well. |

| The glass lense pictured is for T1, T2. The Ghia and T3 lenses have the cutouts for the screws. The T1 & T2 lenses are held in with the base. |

The numbers listed in my first post is all that is written on the lens. I was kind of wondering market value as well considering I have no use for this lens. However, if I knew what it is supposed to be on, I may just keep it if I intend to purchase whatever vehicle it should be on as a spare.
So... so far nothing absolutely definative eh? |
