Too many people have them to be anything special, let alone rare. Unless of course we're talking the elusive "hooded/visored" Albert. Then you have something special

The hooded/visored mirrors are the ones that I would like to put on my 56 three fold. Can anyone tell me more about these ? Where I might find them ? Were they originally designed for a particular make/year ?

3 fold production ended midway through 55. 56 would be a 2 fold, unless its grafted in!

I've gotten all my Alberts (regular & visored/ left & rights) from right here in the good ol US. But they did originally come from somewhere in Europe I'm guessing at some point in time.
