hey there puttin the motor in my '71 beetle the problem i have is this the dual kadrons dont seam to clear the engine bay do i have to remove them to make the motor fit or can i just jimmy it in there if i have to remove the carbs how hard is it to install them when the motor is in the car?

You have to remove the carbs and intake manifolds.

It could be worse... you could have dual IDFs or DLRA which are larger and harder to install.

Welcome to the world of High Performance.

Just be sure to put some rags in the intake holes on the heads when putting the engine in the car. When crap falles in hose holes it makes life hell. When you go to install the intakes again dont forget to pull the rags back out of the heads as well.

that is shitty oh well also what gains could i expect from dual kadrons, ratio rockers and a header on a 1600 dp? i had a holly bugspray on there before and it pulled pretty good

you had a ford flathead carb modified to fit a vw engine and it "pulled"? i think my leg is what is being pulled.the kadrons will pull.
