Tony agreed to a piece on a $700 item. I paid him with paypal the very second that he agreed to the price. I didn’t notice that the credit card I had on file with paypal had expired so when I sent the instant payment to him it was converted into an eCheck which takes a couple of days to clear. The second I got the email from paypal saying it was an eCheck I updated my credit card and walked Tony through the process of refunding my eCheck so I could send him an instant payment. Tony did the refund and I was just about to send him the instant payment when Tony sends me an e-mail saying he has a higher offer and wants me to pay more money. This all happen over 2 hours, from the time I sent him the first payment to the time he wanted more money. Tony is an unethical seller and I would NEVER do business with him again. Buy from him at your own risk.

| Well Matt, its obvious from your post that Tony was not familiar with all the ins n outs of Paypal. Remember he is in Singapore. You probably worried him because of YOUR lack of attention to detail on a high dollar item he has to ship overseas. before you slam him completely you need accept some of the blame yourself. When your going to play with big $ you should have all your ducks in a row before you strike the deal. As a seller you would have worried me... |

That’s crazy talk. It’s big money?..... please. This has nothing to do with the paypal part of the deal, it was Tony changing the price on me after agreeing to a deal. |

Obviously you didnt read it right  When you (the seller) set a price and then to try to up it is bull. You should stick with it even if you find out during the time your selling the part that it is worth a whole lot more. Sorry but im with Buggen on this one and i will think twice if i ever have to deal with this guy. |

Dear Friends,
As a seller, I would think that most of the Seller would agree with me that when a seller from an oversea country that is dealing with such an big amount of USD$700 plus would be very careful and would not take any risk if the buyers payment(In this case, his paypal) was not immediate as promised.
It was in the first place agreed to have immediate payment make by the buyer via paypal in before item send.
In this case, buyer sent an ECheque instead of the agreed immediate confirm paypal payment. Paypal send me an email advising the seller to wait to see if the ECheque clears in 5 to 7 days or not. Then if it clears than send out the parts.
No pior information on this ECheque was given to the seller.
When this matter was brought back to the buyer, this is what the buyer has to say in this replied email
"If I would have known that Paypal was going to send an eCheck I would have stopped and found out why so that I could fix the problem and you would then receive instant payment. I didn't find out that Paypal was sending an eCheck until after it was sent, I then corrected the problem and now I can send you the original agreed upon payment and it will be an instant payment."
I believe all paypal account holder would have been alert by Paypal earlier via email that their Credit Card would be expiring before hand.
While the buyer was trying to explain why on the ECheque, other offers came in and other offers was ready to offer immediate payment. Seller was taken a back with the buyer at this point about his ECheque and since the other offers was only USD$50 more.
Seller had ask if the buyer can match their offer and so be it! And they could continue the deal. Time Is Money Here! There is more than one buyer for this item. :o
I believe that ALL Seller would be more worry when they have to deal with this kind of payment(Not Immediate).
When the email to ask if the buyer would match the other buyers offer was replied. This is what the buyer has replied:
"I am really not happy about you changing the price of the speed. If you decide to not sell me the speed like we agreed I will have to leave you negative feed back on thesamba.
-Matt"
Me as a seller believes that I am not trying to BULL anybody off here but just trying to share. And I am shock why would anyone wants to have the forum to fight JUSTICE for them when they themself cannot deliver their payment correctly.
Thanks |

Tony thanks for being honest about jacking up the price on me with in a 2 hour period. I think this is all people need to know about you.

Also I think people can take something from the fact that you had the speedo listed 3 times on thesamba under 2 different user names, both of which are agents thesamba rules. Everett deleted your extra ads after I posted them for abuse. |

I now think you are a seller with very little integrity. Changing the price after a deal is bullshit. Was $50 worth your integrity as a seller? I hope so. I would never buy anything from you after reading this. |

This is WRONG! Paypal does NOT inform you of an expired CC. I know this because mine is about to expire in 1 week, and I have received no such notice. I'm sure buggen also did not receive such a notice. (It is a good idea, though. PP should notify users by email.)
Paypal is partly to blame for this. They do everything they can to prevent you from using a credit card. They default to E-Check even if you never use it. They hide the credit card option behind stern warnings against using one. I bet buggen did select the credit card option, but because his CC was expired, it defaulted to E-check without telling him. buggen, is this what happened? |

Just to say that I've just bought some goods from Tony.
The deal was very smooth and Quick and would highly recommend his services. If a rare NOS part you're after then go for it. Less than a week to get the goods in my hand in the UK is great going.
Never managed to get anything shipped from the States that quickly!!
Thanks Tony |

I've always thought he had little to no integrity. Rarely does he put a price on high dollar items, he just makes you guess. ONLY lately has he started to put prices on some things. I have made SEVERAL fair offers on many ocassions and have always found I am HALF of what he is asking. If you KNOW what you want, then just post the price in the ad.. dont be a punk.
In this case.. Buggen made an honest offer, you accepted. Form of payment is secondary after you ACCEPT his offer.
oh.. and the ad is STILL up.... guess they weren't knocking down your door like you said?

I have bought many things from Tony and everything always shows up as expected and very fast. Ocassionally it will take him a day to respond to an email but I think that it is the time difference in Singapore. If you want the real deal NOS parts look no further.
Thanks again Tony,

| I bought something from Tony in December 07 and it never arrived. He says he shipped it and the tracking # showed no results. Then Tony didn't want to refund my money. Good thing I used PayPal. If your reading these post about Tony and still buy from him use your PayPal account At least this way you can get your money back. Watch out for Tony, hes a slippery guy. |
