| you can help me with my new 71 :wink: . im getting it either sat or sun. but i dont know if im gonna start making my own cage than or the next weekend, cus i dont have a tube bender yet or my own welder, i keep borrowing my friends, and i dont know if ill have enough money for the tubing |

| alright so im gettin the trailing arms and spring plates from jedrattle today. also selling him a linkpin i have sittin in my garage :D . so i have the trailing arms, i have the spring plates, i have the chasis waitin...ne body wanna let me borrow their welder? haha all my friends are at work so i cant borrow theirs, and i need to get this project finished asap so i can sell this baja and pick up my new one :lol: ill post pics up of the whole process with the irs conversion |

alright its been awhile, but i didnt get the 71, so im thinking about either keeping my 68 and just doing everything i want to that or selling it and waiting for the right baja to come along...sucks. oh and jed sorry for not returning the trailing arms yet haha ive been real busy. should i keep her?

where are those shoulder harnesses bolted to your cage?
it kinda looks like they are run to that tube on the floor, is this correct? |

| no they hook into these bolts on the pan. kinda wierd thats how i bought it, but if i keep it im putting extra wide prp seats in with 5 point harnesses that ARE gonna be fastened onto the cage, but only after i totally customize the cage |

| actually i went out and looked at is, its really wierd, to complicated to explain actually im to lazy haha, but the side straps clip into the pan and the shoulder straps buckle together behind the seat not held on to anything else |

| haha yeah im probably gonna keep her...BUT HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO PAY MY COURT BILLS?? oh well im late on em anyways. haha no way jed, i still gotta make my front beam, get enough money for all my parts, and build my front cage and finish the interior cage and buy my shocks and ohh god its gonna be a few months |

Hey guys. I see you all live pretty close to me also. I'm looking to do my IRS conversion using an 002 tranny. How did the trailing arm setup work out for a Jig? Would you guys mind if I borrowed them? I've been looking around every where for a Jig, but no luck. My buddy next door just picked up a full length Manx and he is looking to convert his also.
