I'd like to know the same thing. Thats a decent car for the price. If that were on the east coast, it would probably be in my garage right now.

car seems nice expecially for the east coast. Doesn't seem to mention anything about trading for a bus. but maybe you know something I don't. What's the bus? That 67' I presume. Didn't you just get that? Anyway, if he wants to trade seems like a fair deal for both.

hopefully thats not bare metal under that primer, or its gonna be all rusty.
why do people paint cars with primer then reassemble? use flat or semigloss, it doesnt soak up water like primer does.

I must have gotten a real deal then. I just picked up this 99% original, 21,500 mile oval in New Jersey for $4,200 that's been in storage since 1985. Only thing not original are the bumpers. It didn't run when I bought so maybe that's why I got it so cheap. It seems the gas that was in the tank since he stored it had gone bad and clogged the fuel valve (go figure). Good thing for me he stored it with the valve in the off position so once I cleaned the fuel valve and topped off the battery it fired right up. While cleaning the interior I found the tool roll under the rear seat and the owner still had the original manual and dealer warranty/service booklet. The booklet is filled out with the Chassis number, engine number and date it was purchased. The service stamps are all filled out up to the last service done at 19,854 in 1985 when it was put into storage. Here are some pics:

Good Deal on the 57, Beautiful Car!

As for the 55', dont know whats wrong with it. If theres no rust, looks like a pretty good deal to me.

uh,
it's a west coast.
i'm not trading my bus for his bug, just considering buying this instead of a bus with the money i'll get from my bus.
