hello,
i have an 55 oval that is made around the 1.000.000 vw it's a golden oval with pink seats. can anybody help me and say to me what colornumber this car has

There's "nothing" special about that car! :roll: The color is called "Antique Gold". You can pick it up at any Walgreens. I think Krylon makes it.

I have an oval that was built around that same # and I heard all ovals built at that time came with oval wheels, but only for a very limited time because oval tires were so hard to come by. My question is, I have the oval wheels but where can I get a set of oval shaped tires to fit them. Do any of you have any of those rare Continental Oval Tires laying around? I am willing to pay big $$$$, let me know, thanks Oh yes, I have one other question did VW ever make any pink oval windows because I would love to paint my car pink like Elvis Cadillac and with those rare oval wheels and tires it would be kick ass! LMFAO

Yes those oval tires were a real improvement over those split tires. Did you ever try to drive split tires in the rain? :wink:

Bob- I remember when everyone was standing around at the last VW show trying to figure out how to get air to inflate those split tires.

Split tires suck, everytime you hear them drive by, sounds like horses the way they "click".

You are super lucky! It sounds like you don't know where it came from, or what makes it so special. That colour is a house of kolors paint #1247
and it's called "GoldToof!"
FYI that car was built in the first season of Pimp my ride! You can tell if you have the 'real deal' because there will be rhinestones embedded in the bumpers! Early-ass Bling! fo' sho'! If you look real close at X-hibit, you can see his front tooth had one of the same stones set in at the same time...pure gangsta!

This oval was made for one month and is a special edition. There are some special thinks on this vw like the color that is gold and the interior is pink. If there are people who don't believe it, please take a look on the net, you will found a little information on the web, also on wolfsburg.
So i will say, stop saying this is crazy if you don't know nothing about it. You must be jealous that he has such a car, he must be lucky. Good luck with it.

Hey Koan, I just checked the VIN numbers on the two 55 ovals in my garage. They are #999999 & #1-000001 Is that incredible or what? Since yours is #1-000000 you are the missing link, literally.
