| What's it worth? Only what someone would be willing to pay for it. But seriously, many factors go into dsetermining a cars "worth". Originality, prior history (you mentioned front/rear damage) and completeness. If you were to get it for free, you'd still have to invest over $30k into a proper restoration. |

worth between 3-10k. ive looked at about 5 pre-A's in the last two months...and they were complete with some issues as the one you described. they are out there, you just have to be patient. i am in southern california, so there are more common here than in most places.
dont be fooled by all those who say you have to spend 30k to bring it up to par....i've seen several preA and A 356's at shows that were rat drivers that looked really cool....they actually received more attention than full blown restored cars because they showed their age as well as plenty of character. people who dont know these special cars tend to think that restored 356's are replicas. |
