| I searched this forum and found a reference to the 411/412 autostick being the same as in a type three. Thats GREAT! has any one put one in a squareback? what is needed? Anything other than what's on a type4 squareback? |

Careful with the nomenclature...411's/412's came with a fully automatic tranny, or a manual, but not the "autostick" that some T1's had. :D
Yep, the guts of the 411/412 automatic transaxle are the same as the Type 3, and it appears to me from observation that they are identical on the outside, too. I'm only familiar with the 412 application, never put one in a T3, so maybe someone else knows the answer?
