| Hey guys had a friend sand blast the car today. I posted a couple shots on the gallery. It turned out pretty good. I will have to replace both heater channel bottoms. But the car is in pretty good shape. Have any of you used Wolfparts for metal replacements? I'm just curious how there replacement parts work. |

| Congratulations on the work done so far and good luck with the upcomming work. As far as Wolfsburg West metal (and in general) it is very good and they have great service. You will do fine. |

| You really sand blasted it?? I didn't think anyone does that anymore, due to the propensity to warp your sheetmetal. We use baking soda at low, say again low pressure and get a nice effect without any chance of warping. If there is rust in some areas we go back over it with plastic media and that takes care of it. But I guess to each their own. |

Nothing wrong with that sandblasting job at all.
Bug looks good. I followed your other thread. I really hope you keep the pan and shell together. Being a standard, that car has the potential to be a very unique ride and I gather you have the skills to pull it off. |
