| Another question: The bug has the original fenders that I need to work out several dents in each or is it better to replace them with repros? I dont know if there are any good repros available that are of a good quality thickness and quality(Ive had a bad experience witha mustang with repo tiawan fenders) Thanks for all info and suggestions on this! :) |

If they can be worked out and minimal filler used then it is much better to try and save them than to mess with most re-pops.
small cracks in the edges of the fender lips can be mig welded and unless the dents are severe or alot of rust I would re use them. Nothing beats the original German metal and stamping of an original fender! |
