i have a '59beetle,but iwant it 2 be dropped 4 some attitude..how will i lower it?tnx dudes.Godspeed

Dropped spindles, adjustable front beam or even a combination of both.

For the really cheap person, you can remove some torsion leaves from the beam. But it'll ride like crap, be more difficult if ou wanna raise it back up and the more leaves you remove, the more dangerous your car will handle.

a beam & spindles is definatly the best way to do it, someone pulled torsion leaves out of my front end 25 years ago & it prob has about 200,000 miles on the front end. It worked, but it rides very badly & is dangerous, because the trailing arms could slip off. Although I've never heard of this happening to anyone.
