This is the first and LAST time dealing with these bozo's. I ordered my part online April 30, 2013 expecting the parts to ship either the 1st or 2nd of May. Surprise the parts shipped on May 6th and arrived on May 9th.

For some that can be acceptable but the story gets better.

On May 10th, my son started installation come to find out that the rear rotors and calipers supplied in the kit did not work together. No matter how we tried to fit them, it was impossible.

On May 11th, I called Kustom1warehouse at 9am, no answer. I called at 12pm and finally got someone. I advised them the calipers did not fit the rotors, they told me to insure that I did not mix the left and right as they are paired. First off, there were no instructions in the package so if you are not mechanically inclined, who would know what and where things go.

I gave the guy on the phone the part numbers on the boxes and he asked me to wait on the phone. He came back a few minutes later and advised that the rotors sent to me were incorrect...Hmmmm! Maybe they need a second set of eyes looking at the inventory, verifying parts and then give a green light to ship.

I was told that I would get a call back...Well, I did get the call but it was just before closing, 4:35pm to be exact. I was told that they would correct the problem and they would send me the correct parts but it would be shipped on Monday, May 14th as they missed the UPS delivery and UPS does not pick up on Saturday. Hmmmm! Maybe they should have taken it to the closest UPS office, which is only 3.6 miles away or a 10 min car ride...6 blocks to be exact. UPS:13337 South St. Cerritos, CA 90703 (Thanks Google)

Even though I was disappointed that the package would not ship until Monday, I thought ok, I will just have to wait.

I was also advised that I would have to ship the rotors that did not fit, back to Kustom1. No problem but I wanted to know was how I was going to be reimbursed for my expenses using two large flat rate USPS boxes. They said they would revert charge back to my credit card or pay by check.

Monday, May 13th arrives, I package items, and on the way to the post, I call to advise that I will add a 5% shipping and handling fee. My day off, My gas and packaging of the rotors. Next thing I know is they are telling me that they will not ship the rotors out to me until they receive the wrong ones sent to me... Well, they have my credit card info on file and they could not just hold an incidental charge until they get their darn rotor back. I was then told that a UPS ticket would be generated by Kustom 1 for UPS to pickup from my home on May 14th thus eliminating MY S/H fee...LOL! ($3.30 was 5% charge)

Now...you probably finished your coffee, you may want a second cup.

Expecting UPS to show up, I make arrangements for Kustom 1 package to be picked up. NOBODY shows up the entire day. So I call May 15 to advise that no one showed up to pick up the package. They said their system was down and that ticket was never processed...Now these guys are SUPER BOZO's...! I was given all kinds of excuses, my blood is boiling, and I have to meet the upcoming Bugorama deadline, May 24 fast approaching.

So, withing the two following days, I tell them that I will ship the package if they just get me the right rotors shipped out. On May 16th, I ship their package, call and advise them of the tracking and still, no rotors on my end. These guys are a BIG JOKE...!

May 17. I was advised that I would get a call back to let me know the status. I never get a call back at all. I call Kustom0 on May 18th and told them no one got back to me. I was told the package shipped on Friday, they gave me a tracking ticket number. Today, I come to find out that a shipping label was created and the item has not been picked up nor has it shipped...

It is now May 20th, you can all see the frustration but hey, that's the Kustom1 way. Oh yeah, the Manager was always too busy to get on the phone with me to sort this pile of you know what.

SO, IF YOU WANT TO GET GREATE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION...LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS IS "HOW THEY ROLL, BABY" KUSTOM 0, ALL THE WAY.

I had the pleasure of purchasing a set of pop-out windows from Lindy. He was great responding to emails, i asked for additional photos and he got them to me quick. Windows were shipped the day I paid, they came in one piece, well packed and wrapped to prevent scratches, he even used cardboard to seperate the hinges from the glass to it wouldnt break.

A little glass cleaner and about 20 minutes later the window was in its new home.

I must be the only one who had a bad transaction with him. paid for a shroud, cyl. tins, deflectors, alternator backing, and sled tins. Described by him as in good condition. received all parts plus extra cracks, dents, and a lot of rust and rust pits. Had to do alot of reshaping, welding, and grinding. After all said and done the shroud and both sled tins wont be able to be used for my motor. To much rust and to dented unless I use it for a rat rod.

Late update as the trans is in the car. Insides looked ok when I inspected; filled with oil and almost immediately got a leak from one of the front housings. I had requested Joe install longer studs in the front for a mid-mount setup; when I received they were there and the nuts were on, but apparently the nuts hadn't been torqued down. Probably my fault with that and the leak, so I'll have to get under the car, remove the mid mount and re-torque those nuts.

Can't say anything about drivability yet as the car isn't road ready and still undergoing tuning. It shifts and moves, so that's a plus...

Buyer beware! Purchased over two transactions, a set of air cleaners and wheel hubs.

1. Air Cleaners
These were described as excellent condition, only pictures were shown on one, with the other in the background.

Condition average. Tried on two (2) occasions contacting Cindi via email, never replied back. Nothing. Zip. Zero

2. Wheel Hubs
Emailed about the hubs. Got a response, even after re-mentioning the air cleaners. Ad showed matching hubs and no damage.

Condition on one excellent, the other damaged. Not a matched pair. Tried again on two (2) occasions for a response, never replied back.

I couldn't find another feedback thread dedicated to Nick's work restoring classic radios, so I wanted to start one. He just restored my Motorola Big M to working order & cosmetic brilliance. Lots of troubleshooting, many problems, but Nick stuck it out and produced a thing of beauty. His rate was very reasonable and his communication was excellent. Highly recommend him if you want to resurrect your original radio!
