I tried to buy a set of calipers from this guy almost 2 weeks ago which now the add is deleted, phone didn't work, emailed for shipping quote and paypal address, no response after email reply that he was going to get his phone fixed. I was interested in several of his other items also but decided from his other feed back just to walk away, since he is ethically challenged.

Picked up a set of baby webers from seller. The description showed dual port manifolds in the photo, but I needed single ports. I emailed him and asked if he would discount the already cheap price in lieu of removing the dual port manifolds. He said no worries, I have a set of polished single ports I will include for you. Paid that night via paypal and had a tracking number the next day. Sans UPS taking 4 days to ship the carbs 54 miles, the transaction went good. When I received the package it was well boxed, but upon opening it up I found that the fuel inlet nipple on one of the carbs was cracked badly. It appeared as if maybe the box was thrown in the back of the truck or dropped on my door step and hit the corner of the carb. I immediately got ahold of the seller and he offered to ship out a new nipple the next day. Can't argue with the price or service. Definitely a stand up guy!

Yessir. It's almost like the restaurant industry. I never see forums or discussions on how good food is. Only complaints. Stories always have 2 sides and being a painting contractor I know custom work takes time. Accusing someone of "mail fraud" and "robbery" is just laughable. Things take longer than expected sometimes. I just don't get why everyone is so quick to rip this guy and make criminal accusations. Just my opinion. He has the lowest and best built beams on the market. You want the best, sometimes you have to wait.

My only experience with Kustom 1 Warehouse was on 04/17/2013 when I purchased three Bosch 01006 ignition points. Since I knew that Bosch had discontinued making these, I called to ascertain availability and to confirm price. And because of the minute size of my order I was promised a shipping charge of $10.00, not the $15.22 that would show in my cart upon checkout. I never would have placed this order without that assurance. Although, in checking out I was paying the $15.22, I trusted that this would be adjusted as they processed my order. To make a long story short, although they admit to making this promise, they blatantly refuse to honor it. Never again will I do business with these people. Incompetence and poor service is one thing, dishonesty is quite another. The real loser is K1W--they've sacrificed a future customer capable of spending hundreds of dollars in return for a $5.22 scam. Unbelievable! Yes, I know: $5.22 is chicken feed. But when one is lied to, money is not the issue.

I contacted Danny on 5-23-13 about a rim, I did not ask for a reduced price, just what did it cost shipped. He got back to me late evening on 5-26-13 with a shipping price. I made a payment at 7:06 AM on 5-27-13.

Danny contacted me on 6-6-13 stating he was tied up with the classic and had guests. They were to leave on 6-10-13 and he would ship out.

I emailed on 6-12-13 asking if it shipped. He responded the same day stating he was looking for a box and would email once it shipped.

I emailed on 6-17-13 asking if it had been shipped yet with no response as of 10 AM today.

Three weeks from payment and not yet shipped is a little excessive to me. What is going on Danny?

He's been a member of The Samba community for 10 years but his reputation obviously means absolutely nothing to him.

I made the mistake of not checking his feedback until 10 days after I paid him.

The transaction:
On April 17, I responded to one of his Samba ads & after he replied I sent him $112 via PayPal for a set of pistons, pins, & rings (without the cylinders). The next day I got an email from PayPal stating that he had paid them for a USPS Priority Mail shipping label & I should consider the package to be shipped.

OK, the problem was that after 10 days the package hadn't shown up. And when I ran the USPS tracking number it showed the package had never even been mailed. It was only at that point that I checked his hideous feedback & discovered what I was dealing with. My fault.

So I waited a total of 2 weeks (May 2) to send a very polite email asking him if there was any chance he could drop off the package at the post office sometime in the near future. And oddly enough (considering the problems that other buyers have had getting him to ship their purchases) he decided to mail it.

Only one problem -- When the pistons arrived they were missing all the rings. I sent him another extremely polite email suggesting that if he would send me the rings I would PayPal him the cost of Priority Mail shipping for a 2nd time.

It's been 6 weeks now & he's never responded --- although a few hours after receiving my last email he deleted all of his Samba for sale ads. (So if you want to get technical, I guess you could consider that a response.)

WTF is wrong with him? Does anybody know? Read his other feedback. You'll agree that the extra $20 it will cost me for a set of rings is a tiny price to pay to avoid further interaction with this amazing loser.

Did eventually receive the pipes, as postmarked on the day sent. They are in surprisingly good condition for the age, so plus marks there. But an equally large minus for business conduct with the transaction. Gotta get your sh*t together Joe if you want to sell on the net!

I got a full length roof rack for my squareback from Reese. He is the man, this thing was wrapped very well. There was a hic-up with Greyhound shipping and Reese located the rack made a call and it was deliverd. The rack fits great and holds all my camping stuff well.
