I just got this mofo. Plan is to stay stock height. Maybe take off the respray to uncover the og sealing wax...what's the best way to do that? It was exported to france and somehow ended up here along the way. what's up with the hubcaps?
ACTUAL MILES
Is this really German or is it a joke? The light switch says "der glimmerblinken" and the wipers are labelled too, but I forget what tehy say.

Hi Levon,
Best stuff we have found to remove later paint is 3M's "Safest Stripper", no nasty chemicals to burn you with. Apply in a few small spots and time test to see how long you need to leave on.
Hope you put the spare back where it belongs. We have had to repair too many bus noses due to that danged spare bracket on it...
The vent label is a homemade item, that is fashioned after the small sticker kit you could buy in the 1960s. Eric's parents had a bug with these in it. The sticker under the wiper switch was "Das Drizzleflippin"
