I've got a 64' notch that needs some pan repair. There's the standard rust in the rear sections, probably need some new sections, and also some front passenger damage. The part that clamps the axle in, the fork, bent back at the bottom and needs to be straighten out. I've looked for a better '64 notch pan, but can't find one. Anyone know a good metal repair shop that is around my area? Thanks.

Or in the Southern California area. Anybody had a pan done somewhere around this area? Thanks.

Best bet is to try ISP West in Carson. http://www.vwispwest.com/1.html
Alex from ISP frequents the forum here, so he may put his two cents in here soon.

I took some photos over to him a couple of weeks ago, and I'm sure he's too busy right now for this small of a project. He said he is swamped right now. Tried West Coast Classics, but they were unsure about having the tools to fix the front part of the pan.
