I want to make this:
To look like this (just not pink):
Can anyone give some tips on Type 3 rear apron work? Is the blue one salvagable? I do have a donor apron thats not as bad. I've heard its a big pain in the ass to remove the apron though. If I use the donor apron, should the metal work on the bottom section be done before its installed? Any thoughts....? _________________ Justin |

well i work at a auto restoration shop and we restore old cars and alot of the times we can't get parts so we make them useing the old one as a pattern. and when we are done you can not tell new from original. your old piece is very useably. if you can make you own piece find a fab shop they can do it. |

if you have a better one, replace the damaged panel as one piece. It cost you more time und money to get the bad one straighten out. |
