i have owned/own a 73,71(2),67,64 SBs and a 63NB. never seen this what is it? |

definately a hard start relay (ford solenoid) used ford parts make a vw run faster |

It really just made for a direct connection from the starter to the battery. 40 year old wiring looses alot of juice from the key start to the battery to the fuse box and back to the starter. The relay just cut out the middle man. As long as you don't ride the starter, you'll be ok. _________________ John
