I'll be using PPG's DBC (2k, with clearcoat) for most of my car, but I'll be doing the rockers in a different color with Ultra (1k, no clearcoat). Does it matter which goes on first? I'm thinking it doesn't.

Why even bother using the single stage?

1. The rocker panel area will get rock chipped and catch most of the roadtar - touch-ups will be faster/easier with 1k.

2. I want a different reflectivity as well as a different color - the 2k on the rest of the car will be clear coated, but the 1k down low won't be clear coated, so it'll be flatter.
