I'll be using PPG's DBC (2k, with clearcoat) for most of my car, but I'll be doing the rockers in a different color with Ultra (1k, no clearcoat). Does it matter which goes on first? I'm thinking it doesn't. _________________ M D "Doc" Nugent

I would do the 1k first... then Clear the whole thing.. that way when you colorsand there wont be a hard edge... J _________________ While we all hate POH ... Don't be Apathitic to CURRENT owner hacks.

1. The rocker panel area will get rock chipped and catch most of the roadtar - touch-ups will be faster/easier with 1k.
2. I want a different reflectivity as well as a different color - the 2k on the rest of the car will be clear coated, but the 1k down low won't be clear coated, so it'll be flatter. _________________ M D "Doc" Nugent
