Will Weber IDF's fit on my early Meyers Manx? They look a little tall in the pictures I have. My concern is that they will hit the underbody. Engine is out and disassembled.

you can always get shorter intake manifolds. My buggy had dual dells and to get them to fit the PO put type 3 manifolds on it so they were tucked up in there nice and neat. The only problem with that is the shorter the manifold the less bottom end tourque you have. The manifold I have I belive they will work with webers as well so they are out there.

IDFs fit fine under my Manx on standard manifolds, including the square clip-on aircleaners....up until the 'alleged' 1835 motor I bought dumped its guts they did. I currently have Kadrons on steel S/P manifolds and the kit-supplied 'coffee can' aircleaners; the right one is a test to remove/install, but they fit & work well too IMO.
