i am asumming that this mostly happens in the morning during warm up? if so that is totally normal and some seem to do it more than others. my old 67 bug would spit water out for a good 10 min before it all evaporated. either that or you got a blown head gasket Razz j/k Laughing Rolling Eyes

Water is a byproduct of the internal combustion engine. Totally normal.

I was in a drive-thru bottlo once and another customer saw my square and wanted to talk vw's.
She told me her father had a beetle in the late 60's.
Every monday morning their dad would drive to work and wonder why the exhaust would spit water all the way up the street..

Turns out that all the kids used to set about cleaning it every sunday arvo.
One of the kids was poking the garden hose up the tailpipe for a while to 'clean the black stuff out of the inside' Very Happy

lol that could be nasty if a lot of water gets all the way to the heads. my A-1 muffler hardly does that at all. wonder if it has to do with having a welded muffler like mine versus a fiberglass packed muff?

If your exhaust puts out a lot of water it can be a sign of good combustion.

Gasoline is a hydrocarbon fuel, hydrogen and carbon atoms.

Ideally your exhaust comes out as H2O and CO2. The other stuff is byproducts of imperfect combustion.

Stoner A is cylinders #2/4 B is #1/3 The plugged bowl is the throttle, the bong is the manifold
