For me, I think it has to be nice og roof racks. I know they aren't anything special, but I just like the way the 10 slat wood racks look on a late 50's early 60's bug. |

univents for a bus are pretty trick.
could my okrasa be considered an accessory?
but my favorite would have to be my sun and moon horn button on my 3-spoke barndoor steering wheel (which is on my '61 bus). I wanted a sun and moon for years, and I finally picked up two of them in the last few years for very reasonable prices. ($70 & $100) I had kicked myself many times for passing up a $200 NOS one in the display case at Koch's years back.

For me, it would be anything that has to do with the dashboard.
With that i mean that whenever you are driving your car, the one thing that pops right in your face is the dash, with that I mean:
*The steering wheel
*The instruments
*Flower bud vase
*Radio.
To me it's like looking on a beautyfull girl, I mean many of you guys probably reather look at a beautyfull girl than on an ugly one correct?
Well I rather look at a beautyfull dashboard than on a stock dash like everybody has.
You would prefer an extraodinary girl over a plain girl I am sure, it's the same with dashboards. :O) sorry if it's a strange comparision. |

It's the KILLER WAY, all you need is to replace the center clock with the same diameter moto meter AMP gauge and install the NOS kienzle ashtray clock you have :O), then it would be even more killer.
Bob you have killer stuff there, BTW Birgitte sais hallo... |

The Kienzle Ash Tray clock is NOS and in the box........it won't be going into the '53, but I do have an NOS Kienzle Mirror clock that is going into the car as soon as I find the amp gauge...........(anybody want to sell me a 60mm MotoMeter amp gauge?) _________________ "What a fool believes he sees, no wise man has the power to reason away." I have a thing for aftermarket wide 5 wheels and different types of gauges are fun to collect, but I'd have to say I like best my set of maico disk brakes and several of my superchargers. Then again, anything in it's original box with instructions rates fairly high on my scale. _________________ Sounding like a broken record as to why You should be measuring protein during harvest in order to better your agronomic practices. |
