68 Ghia Coupe
73 Ghia Vert
72 Ghia Vert
01 NB TDI
Clearly a light weight among TheSamba crowd. Driving the TDI approx. 100 miles/day to/fr work. That's why the diesel.
The '72 Vert is my fun in the sun car (Once the weather breaks.) I drive this one like I plan to keep it forever; which I do.
Starting to feel the itch of an early model coupe developing. _________________ "This above all: To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not be false to any man." Shakespeare |

I don't have many on my list but I have owned a VW ever since I started driving (I know, not a long time) My very first car and the car I learned to drive a stick with was a 1970 Ghia Coupe, then a 1972 Super Beetle, and now a 1968 Ghia Coupe. I would love to one day own a Ghia Vert and Camper. _________________ 68' Ghia Coupe |

Four Beetles over the years (1966 to present) and now a 68 Ghia coupe. I've loved them all. |

What the hay, I'll join in:
I've been on the title of:
1970 Ghia coupe
1963 Ghia coupe - first car I bought with my own money
1980 Jetta - 375,000 mi. when I let the ex have it. It's gotta be part of a washing machine by now.
1993 Passat GLX - going on 200,000 mi. - original motor still going strong.
1971 Ghia coupe - present partner in crime.
2005 Passat wagon - the family car.
I actually got a $500 previous owner discount with the 71 Ghia's registration. It was the only car running at the time! Both the 93 GLX and our Saturn SC2 were dead.
Then there's pictures of little David - standing in the back of Dad's red 60 Beetle. That's standing BEHIND the rear seat looking out the back window! I must have been about a year old, or less. Apparently that's where I used to ride. Ain't no thing. We used to put the whole family of five in the 70 Ghia, the first on the list above: Dad driving, Mom in the passenger seat, both sisters on the rear seat, and David, where else? Tucked behind the rear seat in the shelf. It was great to pull into the grocery store parking lot and see the looks on faces as people kept getting out of the car!
Dad also had a green 68 Ghia. It stayed in Seattle when we went to Portland. |

That’s all I'll ever need. (See gallery)
She gets jealous if I even look at another!
I’ve had her for 22 years and I still love her! _________________ Don't need to drive fast...when your driving a work of art!

ive only had 2 VWs, but hey, im only 17, so im off to a good start....
They are:
1966 Baja Bug (previous car)
1966 Beetle (mostly stock, current car)
I bought the first one at the age of 15, before i even had my permit. actually, i sold the first one and bought the second one before i could drive....
Now i can drive (i have my permit) , but still no license.......
so i almost have my second car running before I can legally drive (by myself)! _________________ '63 Beetle Ragtop - 1600cc
