Yesterday I replaced all 4 shocks with KYB GR-2’s. I was surprised to see that the original BOGE shocks were still in place, with 181 part numbers, they had no rebound whatsoever.
My question is the back still seems to be sagging a bit. Does this mean that I have to adjust the suspension?

I too replaced the "original" shocks" on my Thing about 3 weeks ago.
I ended up tightening the rear torsion bars by (1) inner spline. Made a huge difference in ride height. I also had to adjust out some of the positive camber that appeared after I raised the rear end of the car. _________________ The more you know, the more you know you don't know. |

Thanks,
I’ll have to do that too. Having never messed with suspension before, other than the shocks, is that fairly easy to do or should I take to someone with experience. |

It took me about 45 minutes per side but I've done this many times before.
It can be dangerous and the first time you do it, it's labor intensive
