the air cleaner bracket. I had a 10mm laying around, but it was too large, so I'm guessing 8mm, but I'd like to know for sure.
Also, the front or left side threaded hole is very close to the wheel well -- is it deep enough to take a 25mm long bolt? Shorter ones are going to hard to find locally.
Thanks,

8mm, and I think 1.25 pitch
If the 25mm is too long, just cut it down a bit. |

Muchas gracias.
I broke down and ordered a bunch of metric bolts online, but has anyone found a good brick and mortar source? Occasionally AutoZone will have a bolt or two in a blister pack, but the selection is very spotty. _________________ '73 Thing -- making 45 mph exciting again. |

Good call, they had this:
http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/detail.ex?sku=0161611&in_merch=1
in stock.
It's construction quality and not automotive quality, but it'll do for 70% of the odd jobs that come up like mounting an air cleaner bracket. _________________ '73 Thing -- making 45 mph exciting again. |

I get my hardware mostly from McMaster. I can place an order with them at 3PM and it will show up at my door the next day. Awesome. |
