I took the front seats out and the springs that go from the front rail to the seat were just laying there. What I cant figure is where it attaches to the seat. I found the hole for the front rail but cant see one on the seat for the other end of the spring to attach. Somebody steer me right. |

Thanks for the reply. I saw that on a search before I posted. Still looking for the place where the spring attaches to the seat. |

My springs were missing and still are. But like you I could never see where anything hooked up???? I'd like to replace them.....I guess. _________________ It's a Southern Thing, 73, stock.

well I can see where they hook on the front plate that runs between the rails but not where they hook on the bottom of the seat frame. Hopefully someone will look under neath and solve the mystery. That is unless as I suspect in 90% of things they are just not there anymore. They function I can see, they must really help in sliding the seat forward. Mine were really frozen in place. After a lot of two person mussle we finally got them off. Greased up they work nice. Just be nice to add the finishing touch of the spring. |
