Until I get more shots and more info on the Thing cache...

If you could drive your Thing anywhere, where would you go?

Free your mind of work, mortgages, the fight with the wife, kids, your in-laws, the girl at work who looks at you so funny...

Where would you go?

If it weren't drafty, and I didn't have to worry about rust, there's no place (except perhaps a couple of dangerous third-world countries) I wouldn't want to drive it!

Amen, T.Rail. It would have to be somewhere warm and sandy. Or maybe a little dirty. I've had the itch to wring mine out a little bit on some off-roads, but I'd hate to bust it/scratch it/find out what's next in line to break...

Thing's are the best when you take them off-road. I fully restored mine and I still take her out on the lava and crawl everywhere. You should see the surprized faces of the big 4-wheel drive owners when I pull up with out a scratch. Of course my Thing is stock height. To answer the question where I would like to take her; When I get enough nerve I want to go up the back side of Mauna Kea when it snows and do a little snowboarding. That would be a cool trip. Yes it does snow in Hawaii!
