The paint guy sprayed accidentaly black undercoating spray paint on the bottom part of one of the chrome bumper guards of my 1960 VW Beetle. Should I use Kerosene to remove the black undercoating or should I use another product. He also sprayed some of the undercoating on the bottom part of the front apron on top of the paint of my car. Such an Asshole!

Any type of solvent, acetone, paint thinner ETC. should take it off just be easy with those on any painted surface.

Wax & Grease Remover is the best choice, since it's not abusive to the chrome surface. You can also use it to safely remove bugs, tar, etc. from the painted surface of your car - just make sure to wax or polish the surface after it's use to ensure proper surface protection.
