| my stepdad mentioned geting me this 1955 oval. i guy he works with rearended it because the engine siezed up and he was in a company truck. all it did to the bug was crunched the deck-lid. i havent seen it but he said that he was gonna bring it hope if he could. what is omthing like that worth? isn't just the shell alone worth alot?[/i] |

depends on the damage and how complete it is with correct parts as well as rust etc.

Take a look at it, get into everything including the floor pans and battery tray to look for rust. Verify the engine size and condition....does it turn over? Run? Check the body also for rust. Has it been repainted? Oh, another rust problem is the door pillars on the bottom corner....door pillar meets the door threshold. Do this and then check the classifieds here and at www.cctol.com and you should get an "idea" of what the car is worth. Of course, different areas of the country have some different prices. Good luck and if you buy it, post some pictures here!
