There is a tab at the front right rail that must be pressed down (a locking tab to prevent the seat from sliding off during "normal" seat adjustment).

Look carefully on the outer seat slider (slider closest to the door), towards the front. You will see this tab. Use a flat bladed screwdriver to hold it down. Then the seat will slide off.

Don't forget to disconnect the spring under the seat as well.
